Trip to Kandy

We decided to go to Kandy on 25th of December 2022. that morning at 4.00am we started our journey from Colombo to Kandy. I participated in this trip with my family members. My mother, father, and sister attended the trip.

We reached the city by 6.00 am. First We visited Dalanda Maligawa in Kandy. Then we have breakfast at a shop in Kandy city. After the meal, we left to see Udawatta forest. Udawatta forest is located 2 km from the city. It was a very large forest and its size is 103 hectares. This forest is very beautiful, full of tree colons and fountains. Finished watching it for the day. We spent some time at that place and went to the village of Narampana to bathe. There were many beautiful ponds. We took a bath from that place and had lunch from a nearby shop. Then we went to visit the Sembuwatta Park. It was the only place that impressed me on our trip. It is a place with a very beautiful environment. This park is located in Matale district. We spent a lot of time at this place and started coming back home. It was past 11pm when we got home. This trip was very important and we had a lot of fun.

One of my favourite musician (Yanni)

     Yanni, whose full name is Yanni Chryssomallis, was a prominent role in the development of New Age music in the latter half of the 20th century. New Age music is a typically unrousing subgenre of popular music that is frequently totally instrumental and used for relaxation or meditation.       Greek parents encouraged Yanni Chryssomallis to pursue music as a child, but they under no circumstances put any pressure on him to do so. He was raised in a middle-class family. He never imagined that he would eventually pursue music as a career; at the moment, he just enjoyed making songs. He competed for the Greek national swimming team while he was a teenager, breaching the age limit for the freestyle at 14. He moved to the United States at the age of 18 to enroll in the University of Minnesota, where he earned a psychology degree before graduating in 1976.
