Camping is a type of outdoor recreation that involves spending the night in a simple, temporary shelter, like a tent. Recreational vehicles, permanent tents, tarps or bivys, as well as no shelter at all, can all be used while camping. Typically, participants travel from developed regions to spend time outside in search of enjoyable or instructional activities.
